Axiom 61 (2nd Gen) with sticky keys.

I just got a 2nd gen Axiom 61 2 days ago to find out the keys are a bit rubbish and constantly sticky like an old piano that hasnt been played in 50 years. I check online and of course its a fairly common issue but from reading through the forums here it seems to have been fixed with the 2nd gen no? Mines terrible and stays sticky in the same way no matter how much exercise i give the keys to loosen them up. I haven't even bothered to plug the thing in :(
The serial (i think) is PN: 9312-65003-00 Rev A
Im pretty sure its 2nd gen since its new and has the unnotched knobs.

I Bought an Axiom 49 and i need control it with Cubase. So i can not download Axiom 49 xml for Cubase. the site show this message "Entry is not currently available" for me.what is that mean? please help.

Add standard midi port to oxygen 49 v3

Hi,

I didn't realize until after I purchased the Oxygen 49 V3 that there is no standard midi out port. I want to use this with my Fantom XR rack. My question is does it have the same motherboard as V2? I am and electronic tech and can add my own power supply jack and midi connector if the board will support it.

Evolution MK-425c and windows 7!!!

I'm not sure if windows 7 that's causing this to happen but for some reason my mk-425c works perfectly in fl studio for like the first 5 mins and then it just stops working. Has anyone experience this before and it's getting annoying. If anyone can really help me, I would appreciated it..

Mac doesnt recognize Oxygen 61.

So for nearly 3 hours I've spent my time uninstalling, reinstalling, trying different USB Hubs, trying different USB cables, updating OS software, Everything i can think of! I cannot get my Oxygen to work on my computer. It doesnt show up in the Audio MIDI setup application either. i know the keyboard works because when i plug it in, it lights up and about a month ago i got it to work like a charm. Long story short im at my end, im about to give up, i dont know if im missing something simple or what, but any info helps. Thanks guys :/

Axiom Pro 25; Keys and Trigger pads dont work

Hello,

I have an Axiom Pro 25 hooked up to Pro Tools LE 8, and my keys and trigger pads dont work. It was working fine for a long time and i must have done something to make this happen. I have my peripherals right when i click on setup and I don't know how else to get a signal when I hit a key or a trigger pad. The odd thing is, my transport works just fine. If someone could help it would be much appreciated, Thank you.

Knob and plastic stem broken on Axiom 49

Hi all, I was wondering what I should do, an adjustment knob on my Axiom 49 has completely broken off, not just the knob, but also the little plastic stem attached to it.

I'm not sure if I qualify for the warranty or anything, because I actually bought it off of uniquesquared on ebay, which I think is a certified M-Audio reseller. Also I wasn't sure if it counted as a legacy product, because the box it came in still had a Avid logo on it, so it was probably an old make.

How easy is it to replace a knob and stem on an Axiom 49, and where would I get replacement parts?

Thanks in advance for any help, this is my first M-Audio product, and really the first keyboard I ever bought for production purposes.

Hello, I have had the axiom mini air some time now, and have failed to get the transport keys to link in FL studio to control the play, stop and record. Is the XML file available to solve this? I have everything else working just fine.

Axiom 49 - USB Unrecognized

I had the damn thing working this arvo. I decided to sit it on a little stool and found it to not be responding anymore but with the blue light and key presses functional. Then a popup saying USB Device Unrecognized, so I tried the troubleshooting steps on the M-Audio website and it still comes up with the popup message. How can I fix this, or how do I get it fixed or repaired? Also, I have tried resetting it, so yeah.

Axiom 49-When Zone/Group is switched on, controllers (faders, buttons) don't work

Hi,
for a live set, I've mapped a few fx parameters on Logic 9 to some faders on my Axiom, but I need to switch between 3 zones. So, everything works just fine, but only when the Zone/Group button is switched off. As soon as I switch it on, in order to change the zone, the faders don't work anymore…
Any idea?

Hello all,

I use an Axiom 49 to play MIDI via Logic 9. I've opened it up this evening and only 2 keyboard notes are registering as active on Logic. Any ideas whats happened?

Hi,

I spent about an hour to read this forum and I haven't found what i'm looking for. I have exactly the same problem that this guy : http://forums.m-audio.com/showthread...-1-0-2-FAILS-(

1) The keyboard is connected directly to the rear USB connectors of the PC.
2) I've tried to use differents drivers on Windows 7 (obviously including the last one).
3) I've tried to install these drivers on differents OS : XP SP3 x32 and Win7 SP1 x64.

I absolutly want to update the firmware because the keyboard play random notes or chords with cracky noise at full volume with sustain at random times when I play...

It's very irritating...

Can someone help me ? Do I need to return the keyboard or is there a solution ?

keyrig49 win 7 interesting problem

Hi,
I am using keyrig 49 for my cubase and reason. It was only plug in before. But my new pc is win7 64 bit. What the problem is, my keyrig49 driver is up to date. When i connect it, the volume button, modulation and pithc bend buttons work but the keyboard doesnt work. What can it be? (I can not load pictures here and i dont know why? )

Hi Guys

Trying to work out how to control my 2 dave smith modules and my yammah an200 via my axiom 49
but failing miserbaluy
Currently all the midi hardware gets routed via a Unitor8 midi patch bay and into my Mbox then into the MacPro (10.06.8)
ANy advise/direction/help much appreciated

Hi I am a new M-AUDIO product user, and I was wondering if the Axiom 61 keys (1st generation) would work with Logic 9 or Garageband on my new MacBook Pro (Wich has Mountain Lion OSX) :-)

EDIT: And what does "Direct Link" means? Does it have something to do with the overall compatibility

AXIOM 25 - transport buttons only stopped working, Logic Pro 9

So my Axiom 25 has been working fine with Logic for several months (I only use it occasionally), but today when I fired up Logic, the transport buttons (record, play etc) on the controller no longer control the transport functions in Logic. Other buttons on the controller work fine. Any ideas? I hunted around but didn't see anything. I've never had any issues before...

Mac OSX 10.7.5, Logic Pro 9.

Axiom 49 MK II - Direct Link

Hello,

It seems I can't find the "Direct Link" installer anymore on the M-Audio website. I bought a new Mac so I need to reinstall that in order to get the keyboard to fully integrate with Logic Pro 9.

I had an old installer (which however was probably the latest version released) but it kept giving me an error saying it couldn't be installed (OSX 10.8.3) so I deleted it (damn me).

Any help or suggestion would be greatly appreciated.
